I am an External Relations Specialist at the Center for Studies in Higher Education at the University of California, Berkeley. I hold a PhD degree in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a concentration on international and comparative education. My scholarship examines the co-construction of spatial, economic and racial relations in universities and cities within the era of global education. My research has been sponsored by multiple grants, including the Institutional for Regional and International Studies Fieldwork Award, and Graduate Research Travel Grants from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Besides research, I also worked as a lecturer in the Department of Educational Policy Studies, teaching both domestic and global education courses. I have a M.A degree in Social Sciences and Comparative Education from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a B.A. degree in English Language and Literature from University of International Relations. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a project manager in an educational investment company, and as an English teacher in China.
